Health ‘camps’ are a strategy adopted through nongovernmental organizations. It literally means that a team of health professionals ‘camps’ in an area to carry out limited health interventions. Against this backdrop, free eye checkup camps were conducted through Manav Seva Charitable & Medical Trust. This camp was one such special initiative to provide eye care to meet the immediate eye care needs of the community. Customized eye camps were organized on a large scale during the Wari, which provided comprehensive eye checkup services such as curative, preventive, promotive and referral to a large number of people in selected areas. Under this eye treatment will be done to people from different groups. This camp will be for people of all categories like elderly people, women as well as young people and young women.
